502 exists primarily to provide a channel through which we can give back to the Communication Design program that did so much for us. We do this through a variety of initiatives, the most important of which is the Outstanding Portfolio Award and Scholarship given out twice a year at each Exit Review. The other programs are listed below. If you are interested in finding out more, or are interested in assisting us with one, don’t hesitate to contact any of the officers.

The 502 Pile

To date, 502 Alumni have supplied students in need with paper, x-actos, glue, paper samples, swatch books and other supplies. If you have extra supplies you’d like to donate, please contact David Shields (ds31@txstate.edu). All donations help students who have a hard time getting the supplies they need.

Help us fill the Gallery on the 3rd floor with YOUR work! Be an inspiration for students at Texas State.
